You can trust FLASHbrief to be secure. FLASHbrief employs staggering security measures to safeguard Alert Center and Citizen connections against misuse, unauthorized access, or any other type of breach in our system's security.
FLASHbrief uses advanced, multi-layer fire-walling, and both remote and on-site supervision by network administrators and technicians. We also protect connection links via physical measures like housing our servers and databases behind magnetically-imprinted security card access doors, guarding them with a sophisticated alarm system, and monitoring the location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We also maintain an exclusive partnership with an off-site Corporate Data Center that provides us with redundant, dedicated servers and provides users with the maximum amount of uptime in the unlikely event of an extended utility failure at our Primary location.
Your personal connection is secure.
The FLASHbrief for Government Version 2.0 Software is a secure connection via the Internet between your home computer, work station, laptop, or any other platform which may support the application and the specialized FLASHbrief Alert Center established for your local government. This connection is highly secure and requires only the type of operating system (XP, MAC, VISTA) you utilize, in order to download the correct version of the connection software. We require no personal information. No personal information is required and there is never a cost to you, the citizen, for your connection. You can choose to disable or remove your connection at any time. FLASHbrief for Government Version 2.0 does not allow Government Officials to have access to any financial data, personal information, or any files on your computer. The only information that a Government Official will receive from your computer (and anyone with the software within your area) is an anonymous set of data chronicling when the message was received and when it was acknowledged. There is no security risk in downloading and using this application, since no personal data is requested and there no personal information that may be exploited by outside forces.
