You can trust FLASHbrief to be secure. FLASHbrief employs staggering security measures to safeguard Alert Center connections against misuse, unauthorized access, or any other type of breach in our system's security. FLASHbrief uses advanced, multi-layer fire-walling, with both remote and on-site supervision by network administrators and technicians. We also protect connection links via physical measures like housing our servers and databases behind magnetically-imprinted security card access doors, guarding them with a sophisticated alarm system, and monitoring the location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also maintain an exclusive partnership with an off-site Corporate Data Center that provides us with redundant, dedicated servers and provides users with the maximum amount of uptime in the unlikely event of an extended utility failure at our Primary location.
Multi-Factor Password Control
FLASHbrief utilizes a unique extension of "multi-factor" password authentication. A password and user-name will be provided to you at the inception of your "FLASHbrief Alert Panel Access" service to gain access to your Alert Center, and another authentication code will be required before the authorized user can actually send the notification message through the program.
To protect yourself from unauthorized message dissemination, you should not reveal your user name, password, or any other access device, convention or method to any person not authorized by you. Do not write your login information on any item kept with your access devices; and never leave a computer terminal unattended after you have logged in using your Password or other Access Device.
Once your system becomes publicly operational, FLASHbrief personnel do not have access to your password. However, primary login password resets requests may be made at any time by phoning FLASHbrief at 1-800-920-6431.
Server Security
FLASHbrief constantly monitors for attempted breaches in network security, hijacking attempts of connection information, and also ensure the physical safety of our servers (both on site and off). In order to preserve the integrity and security of our proprietary software, "FLASHbrief for Government Version 2.0", we've taken preventative measures and developed backup protocols.
FLASHbrief utilizes both a Primary on-site, and Co-located off-site, dedicated server system. Our state-of-the-art, redundant systems assure power availability, temperature, humidity control, and security. Some of the physical security features of our Primary facility include:
